Job summary

Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine seeks a dynamic Urologist to join our clinical faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor.

The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, and will provide compassionate, evidence-based care within the Florida Atlantic Medical Group. The role emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activities in a thriving academic medical school

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution with credentials that merit appointment at the rank of assistant professor or higher.
Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) and ABMS Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
Demonstrated commitment to academic teaching, scholarship, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical management for urologic conditions.
Research & Scholarship: Engage in clinical research, quality improvement, or public health initiatives related to urology.
Service & Community Engagement: Serve on departmental, college, and university committees and collaborate with local agencies.
Academic Teaching & Mentorship: Teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows; mentoring in patient care, clinical reasoning, and research methodology.
