Job summary

Huntington Learning Center – North Dallas is seeking a part-time tutor to support students after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. The role focuses on one-on-one tutoring with teens and young adults, with sessions scheduled by center directors.

A bachelor’s degree is required, and availability at 4:30pm is highly requested. Open to graduate students, retirees, or substitutes; SAT/ACT tutoring opportunities may require qualifying scores within the last three years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED.
• Experience working with teens and young adults.
• Excellent personal interaction skills in a 1-1 setting.
• Must be able to work at least 3 times a week; flexible schedule welcomed. Open seven days a week during school year. Availability at 4:30pm highly requested.
• SAT/ACT tutoring: qualifying SAT/ACT scores within 3 years; assessment available in center.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in a one-on-one setting.
• Deliver high-quality supplemental education sessions.
• Follow scheduling as directed by center staff.
• Support SAT/ACT tutoring as needed.
