Job summary

galineducation is seeking tutors to work one-on-one with high school students across math, science, writing, and world languages, including Honors and AP, with focus on preparing for success in classes.

Tutors report to the Education Director and participate in paid trainings. Ideal candidates live in or near Madison, WI and can commit to at least six hours weekly, with opportunities for more hours and annual increases.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in education as a teacher or tutor.
• Available in evenings and/or weekends.
• Commitment of at least six hours per week during summer and the school year.
• Attend monthly evening trainings (training rate paid).
• Plan to be in/around Madison, WI for at least 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring to high school students.
• Use students' current work supplemented by additional materials.
• Report to the Education Director and participate in ongoing professional development.
