Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking qualified tutors to deliver in-home, state-aligned academic support to K-12 students across Maryland. You will tailor lessons to individual learning styles and provide enrichment materials while tracking progress for families.

Flexible hours, competitive pay, and ongoing professional development are offered to successful candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree and teaching credentials (or are pursuing them).

Qualifications

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid state teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher; pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have 2 or more years experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
