Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a part-time Tutor for TSI (Targeted Support & Improvement) in North Carolina. The position offers 24 hours per week at $25.00 per hour, with an end date of 6/02/2027. Work is on an as-needed basis and reports to the Principal or designee.

The tutor provides academic assistance to tutees, helps develop study skills, and supports students in building confidence and positive attitudes toward learning. High school diploma and 48 college hours are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and a minimum of 48 hours of college coursework.
• A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic assistance to assigned tutees, either in a group or individually.
• Help students develop positive attitudes toward learning and studying.
• Help students develop self-confidence, raise self-concept, and reduce anxiety or fear of failure in academic work.
• Help students develop the study skills necessary for academic success.
• Establish and maintain rapport with the assigned student(s).
• Serve as a role model for students being served.
