Job summary

You will track progress using data and teacher feedback, collaborate with teachers and AmeriCorps teammates to deliver interventions, support after-school programming, and model leadership and service; training and development are provided.

Job description

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you will serve in K–12 classrooms to provide individualized and small-group academic support, focusing on literacy, math, and key learning skills. You’ll build positive relationships, mentor students in social-emotional growth, and track their progress using data and teacher feedback. Working within City Year’s collaborative, inclusive culture, you will partner closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team to deliver interventions, support after-school programming, and model leadership and service.
