Job summary

City Year is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor to serve full-time in a partner public school, providing individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects, tracking student progress, and supporting classroom instruction.

You will build strong relationships, mentor students in social-emotional skills, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment, as part of a diverse AmeriCorps team with ongoing training, coaching, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or mentoring students in core subjects.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized tutoring in core subjects.
