Job summary

City Year is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner public schools. In this full-time, on-site AmeriCorps service role, you will provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and build trusting mentoring relationships with students.

You’ll track student progress, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to a positive school climate.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or mentoring students in an educational setting.
• Ability to partner with teachers to reinforce instruction and support student growth.
