Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Dallas, TX is seeking part-time tutors to support students after school, in evenings and on weekends. This role focuses on one-to-one or small-group tutoring with flexibility and a supportive environment.

Qualified applicants hold a Bachelor's Degree and have experience with kids/teens. SAT/ACT tutors should have qualifying scores within the last 3 years; in-center assessments are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience working with kids, teens, young adults.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in 1-1 or 4-1 settings.
• Available at least 3 times a week; flexible schedule acceptable. SAT/ACT tutors: scoring within 3 years; in-center assessment available.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students 1-1 or small groups after school and evenings.
• Provide tutoring across subjects as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling with center directors.
• Maintain a supportive and positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED.
• Experience working with kids, teens, young adults.
• Excellent personal interaction skills in a 1-1 or 4-1 setting.
• Must be able to work at least 3 times a week; flexible schedule welcome. We are open for tutoring seven days a week during the school year. Availability at 4:30pm is highly requested.
• For our SAT/ACT tutors, we require qualifying scores on an SAT/ACT from within 3 years; an assessment can be taken in center to get scores.
