Job summary

Huntington Learning Center - North Dallas is seeking part-time tutors to support students after school. You will work in a center-based setting, delivering engaging tutoring sessions in a small-group or 1-1 format with prepared materials.

Ideal candidates are graduate or retired or substitute educators with a bachelor's degree and teaching certification preferred. Availability at 4:30pm is highly requested, with a flexible schedule across afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Teaching certification is preferred.
• Experience with children is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills for 1-1 or small group sessions.
• Availability at least 3 times a week, with 4:30pm strongly requested.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students after school in math, reading, or other subjects.
• Deliver sessions at Huntington Learning Center facilities.
• Use provided materials; no homework grading or parent conferences.
• Maintain a positive, supportive learning environment in small groups.
