Job summary

Learning Matters, Inc is looking for qualified reading coaches and tutors to help students aged 6-18 in Miami-Dade County. The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and a passion for education, along with at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience.

Coaches will work with students in their homes and local libraries, using brain-friendly strategies to help them overcome academic challenges and reach their potential. Experience with gifted students and those with learning disabilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tutoring and/or teaching experience.
• Experience with gifted students is welcome.
• Experience with students diagnosed with a learning disability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with students ages 6-18 in core and specialized subject areas.
• Serve students in their homes and local libraries.

• Passionate professionals and/or teachers with a strong background in Education. Minimum 1 year of tutoring and/or teaching experience.
• An emotionally intelligent individual who is able to connect and guide students to unlock their potential and overcome academic challenges.
• One academic year commitment required.
• Experience working with gifted students welcome.
• Experience working with students diagnosed with a learning disability is a plus.
