Job summary

A leading organization in the South Carolina United Methodist Conference is looking for an Academics Coach. This role involves providing academic, transitional, and social/emotional support to students, as well as crisis intervention and assessments. Ideal candidates will have a commitment to faith practices compatible with the United Methodist Church and must pass standard background checks.

Qualifications

• Two years experience working with children or adolescents providing behavioral intervention.
• Ability to relate to students while maintaining confidentiality.
• Must be able to undergo background checks (drug screen, physical, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and interventions to support students academically and socially.
• Work with the Vice President of Academics to manage academic and behavioral problems.
• Offer transitional services and crisis intervention support as needed.
