Responsibilities

• Utilize TES evaluation system and other resources to complete transfer credit evaluations.
• Assist with official transfer credit evaluations as needed.
• Screen transcripts to update student records for additional attended schools.
• Verify school accreditation, degrees earned, and course/grade information to ensure accurate transfer credit application.
• Process transcripts and documents confidentially, complying with FERPA and institutional policies.
• Work independently and with teams on projects like training, software testing, meetings, and idea presentations to ensure departmental accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; Baccalaureate preferred.
• Experience in higher education, especially in records management, academic services, or student success.
• Equivalent combination of related work and educational experience.

Skills/Abilities

• Strong dedication to service excellence for students and staff.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Exceptional problem-solving, administrative, analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Understanding of educational institutional structures.
• Willingness to learn new methodologies, technologies, and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in higher education, preferably in student records, enrollment management, or student services.
• Experience with student information systems like CampusNexus, transfer technology systems like CollegeSource/TES, and knowledge of credit transfer policies.
• Knowledge of curriculum management systems, degree audits, and report query tools.
• Understanding of FERPA and other relevant regulations.
