Job summary

Common Spirit Health, in affiliation with Creighton University Medical Center, seeks a Thoracic Surgery Physician to expand clinical, research, and educational activities within an integrated academic health system in Omaha, NE. You will educate residents and medical students and collaborate on thoracic oncology initiatives.

The role emphasizes minimally invasive/robotic techniques, program development, and scholarly activity in a renowned teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Active or eligible license in Nebraska.
• Strong clinical skills with program development experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate Creighton surgical residents and medical students and conduct research with Common Spirit Health and Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Lead and develop an integrated thoracic oncology program in collaboration with Cardio-thoracic and pulmonary teams.
• Engage in academic activities and resident education within a teaching hospital setting.
