Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and completion of the Nevada State Board of Education requirements for a secondary license.
• Experience and ability to counsel, evaluate and instruct adjudicated youth in a training facility.

Responsibilities

• Counsel, evaluate and instruct adjudicated juveniles assigned to a youth training facility.
• Develop curriculum and individualized educational programs.
• Monitor student progress and participate in behavior modification programs.
• Administer, score and analyze standardized tests for educational planning.
• Develop in-service training for staff members.
• Assist in scheduling and placement decisions based on assessments.
• Maintain student records including attendance, grades and credits earned.
