Job summary

Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville seeks a Surgical Pathologist, preferably with fellowship training in bone and soft tissue pathology, to join a large academic group. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills and extensive experience in bone/soft tissue pathology.

Senior candidates may participate in sarcoma tumor board activities, collaborate with a broad multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to scholarly work and education. Florida licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required; board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology.
• Fellowship training in bone and soft tissue pathology desirable.
• Florida licensure eligibility required.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Join Mayo Clinic's large multi-disciplinary academic group in Florida.
• Lead presentations and discussion of pathology reviews at the weekly sarcoma tumor board (site-based, video-conferenced).
• Educate trainees, medical students, residents and fellows; participate in research and education.
