Academic Support - Elementary Engagement Coach (TOSA) - 2025-26

Position: Elementary Engagement Coach (Teacher on Special Assignment)
Type: Full-Time - 2025-26 school year

The Elementary Engagement Coach will be responsible for improving colleagues' proficiency in implementing student engagement strategies. They will assist staff in examining their behavior and performance and support the implementation of Catalyst Strategies.

Duties:
  1. Facilitate the implementation of Catalyst Strategies at assigned school sites.
  2. Complete coaching cycles with staff.
  3. Serve as a resource for teachers in managing student behavior.
  4. Certify staff members in Catalyst Foundational Skills.
  5. Collaborate with building administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Elementary Education or Any Special Education Teaching License.
  • Anoka-Hennepin will prioritize hiring teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Training in Catalyst Skills is preferred.
Start Date:

August 25, 2025. The position may be filled 7 days after the initial posting by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license) or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 1 or Tier 2 license, or OFP after a 15-day posting period.

Rate of Pay:

$50,029 to $104,251, based on full-time equivalency and verified placement on the salary schedule. View additional terms and benefits here.
