The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, seeks a full-time Structural Interventional Cardiologist at Associate Professor or Professor to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Heart and Vascular Institute. Academic rank and compensation are based on qualifications.

Responsibilities include performing structural and interventional procedures, inpatient/outpatient care across multiple sites, and contributing to clinical research in structural heart

Qualifications

• Hold an MD or equivalent and be eligible for Illinois licensure.
• Board certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
• Eligible for or certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Strong record of scholarly productivity and trials experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and interventional procedures in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care across multiple sites.
• Support and expand clinical research in structural heart disease.
• Mentor trainees and engage in clinical outreach and offsite activities.
• Participate in scholarly activity including publications and national presentations.
