Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Department of Orthopaedics seeks a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join an academic practice with a planned start in summer 2027.

The role combines community spine work at Beaver Hospital – Heritage Valley with complex spine surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, providing teaching within residency and fellowship programs and engagement in research through AHN's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-approved Orthopaedic Surgery residency and completion of an orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship.
• Board Eligible / Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Teach orthopaedic residents and spine fellows in an academic setting.
• Participate in research and quality initiatives with AHN infrastructure.
• Manage a mixed clinical schedule across Beaver County and Pittsburgh.
• Cover general orthopaedic call at Beaver and spine call at Allegheny General Hospital.
