Job summary

Penn State Hershey Medical Center's Department of Neurosurgery in Hershey, PA is seeking a Spine Neurosurgeon with fellowship-level experience in spinal oncology to join our academic team. The role offers a full-time appointment commensurate with experience and a strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities include leading complex spine oncology cases, collaborating with medical oncology and radiation oncology, and mentoring residents and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• BC/BE Neurosurgery required or equivalent board certification.
• Fellowship level experience in spinal surgery with an emphasis on spinal oncology.
• Ability to obtain PA medical license and opioid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex spine oncology cases and provide expert care.
• Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology teams for integrated treatment.
• Educate and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities to advance spine oncology.
