The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston are seeking a full-time Academic Specialist in General OB/GYN. At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, our multidisciplinary obstetrical and gynecological team provides world-class, highly personalized care to patients throughout all stages of life. From family planning and pregnancy to intimate health and menopause, our team includes specialists in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of activity and commitment to the academic mission including teaching and leadership in resident and medical student education. An academic appointment will be made at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. All candidates must be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our physicians and staff are nationally recognized leaders in leading-edge clinical research and innovation. In order to reach patients where they live, we have full spectrum reproductive care clinics based in the community, including Chelsea, Chestnut Hill, Dedham, Dorchester, and Lexington. We have an active full scope general gynecological surgical practice; our generalists perform major gynecological surgeries and are supported by faculty from the Minimally Invasive Gynecological (MIGS) Division for more complex cases. A peer mentoring program focuses on supporting early career faculty. Pay Range: $235,000 - $410,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality
