Position Title Academic Scholar - Assistant/Associate Professor, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
The Jacobs School of Medicine ( JSMBS ) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is actively recruiting for Assistant/Associate Professor with care responsibilities at both our hospital and academic practice sites.
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Contribute to the teaching mission of the department, to include instruction for medical students and residents as well as the ability to supervise fellows
- Have outstanding communication skills
- Have the ability to creatively solve problems and interest in developing innovative models of care
Clinical/Translational research interest and experience will be a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
- BC/BE Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

- Capable of ensuring a high level of cooperation and communication among their faculty and staff.
