UTMB's Division of Rheumatology seeks a full-time Rheumatologist to join its academic practice, primarily based in Clear Lake, Texas.

This role combines clinical care, teaching, research, and administrative leadership with opportunities for in-depth collaboration across subspecialties and fellows; Epic EMR integration with Dragon AI and MyChart supports efficient patient communication. The position offers a strong institutional support system and leadership pathways.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist with strong clinical and teaching skills.
• Open to recent rheumatology fellowship graduates.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Texas medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical rheumatology care as part of an academic practice.
• Contribute to teaching and research activities.
• Develop and participate in administrative leadership within the division.
• Opportunities for inpatient consultation and leadership as physicians gain experience.
