Position Details

Open Rank Rheumatologist - Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is recruiting a Rheumatologist. This full-time faculty position offers an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor/Clinical, Associate Professor/Clinical, or Professor/Clinical, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

1. Provide outpatient rheumatologic care at the Robert B Green and Gateway clinic sites.
2. Offer inpatient consult coverage at UT Health MSRH and University Hospital.
3. Conduct research and teach/r supervise rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

1. MD or DO degree.
2. Completed 3 years of ACGME-certified Internal Medicine residency.
3. Board certified in Rheumatology or able to obtain certification within one year of fellowship completion.
4. Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
