Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a regional anesthesiologist to join an academically oriented, full-time division focused on regional anesthesia and acute pain management. The role includes resident and fellow education and collaboration with multidisciplinary perioperative teams.

The ideal candidate will have board certification or eligibility, a regional fellowship, SC licensure eligibility, and demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities in a vibrant academic health system.

Qualifications

• American Board of Anesthesiology certification or eligibility.
• Completion of a regional fellowship or relevant experience.
• Eligibility for South Carolina licensure.
• Strong clinical, education and interpersonal skills that enable collaboration and leadership within the department.
• Research experience and interests are preferred but not required.
