Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center invites applications for a Faculty - Radiology position in the SOM KC Radiology department. The role emphasizes clinical, educational, and research duties across multidisciplinary teams, with teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and fellows.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO (or equivalent) and be eligible for Kansas medical licensure; board certification/eligibility in Radiology is required.

Qualifications

• Education: MD, DO, or equivalent is required.
• Certifications/Licenses: Kansas medical licensure required or eligible; Board certified/board eligible in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services within area of expertise using current, evidence-based practices and techniques.
• Deliver comprehensive services across clinical settings, classroom environments, or a combination thereof.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams, research groups, academic programs, and institutional partners to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the education, training, and mentorship of learners, including students, trainees, and other designated groups.
• Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, case conferences, teaching rounds, seminars, and other academic activities as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in their area of specialization, including clinical practice, procedural skills, teaching, and/or research focus.
