Job summary

The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr., VAMC in Memphis, TN is recruiting for a Radiologist Physician to serve as a full-time Radiology physician.

The position reports to the Chief of Radiology and aims to deliver state-of-the-art care while meeting compliance standards. Board certification by the American Board of Radiology is highly desired. The role includes interpreting imaging studies (CT, MRI, US, radiographs), supervising radiology services, and potential academic appointments with UT Health

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school.
• Licensure to practice medicine in the US required.
• ABR board certification highly desired and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general specialized diagnostic radiology services to VAMC Memphis patients.
• Interpret radiology studies including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine with report generation.
• Supervise radiology staff and services; participate in research and committees as needed.
• Share in call duties and potential clinical director responsibilities.
