Job summary

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at West Virginia University School of Medicine seeks a General Diagnostic Radiologist to join our academic imaging team in Morgantown, WV. The role covers general diagnostic imaging for the affiliated Veterans Administration hospital site.

This 40-hour workweek features no on-call or evenings, with teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students. West Virginia licensure eligibility and a competitive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Board certified/eligible in Radiology
• Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure
• J‑1 visa waiver sponsorship available
• Well‑rounded diagnostic radiology skillset, including basic fluoroscopy

Responsibilities

• Provide general diagnostic imaging coverage for the VA hospital site.
• Involve teaching residents and medical students within the diagnostic radiology residency program.
• Collaborate with a team of radiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver patient-centered imaging services.
