Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician to join its academic faculty. This primarily inpatient role emphasizes critical care, inpatient pulmonary consults, with a limited outpatient component, in a high-acuity quaternary center.

You will collaborate with multiple subspecialties, supervise trainees, and contribute to scholarly activity, quality improvement, and clinical research aligned with the division's academic

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Sleep Medicine certification or interest is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attending-level inpatient critical care and pulmonary services in MICU and other ICUs.
• Offer inpatient pulmonary consultations for complex patients across the hospital.
• Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Engage in educational conferences, bedside teaching, and academic mentorship.
• Collaborate with subspecialty teams and hospital committees; participate in quality improvement and regulatory initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, timely, compliant patient records and ensure billing/coding compliance.
