Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania’s SHaC seeks an energetic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Primary responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Penn students seeking treatment, reporting to the Director of Integrated Care.

The expanded Health & Wellness program emphasizes an integrated approach with psychologists, social workers, and nurses.

Qualifications

• MSN with 3–5 years of relevant psychiatric NP experience.
• Licensed as PA RN with unrestricted DEA license.
• Experience with college student population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations for Penn students.
• Medication management and maintenance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Supervise psychiatric nurse practitioner interns.
• Provide on-call coverage during day and after hours on a rotating basis.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
