The program manager is responsible for the overall administrative management and strategic support of the Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship Programs. This position oversees administrative aspects of program operations, budgets, personnel, accreditation-related activities, educational administration, recruitment, and program development in collaboration with program directors, faculty, department leadership, and University partners. The program manager ensures programs operate effectively, comply with institutional and national accreditation educational requirements and standards, and supports the division’s academic, clinical, and organizational goals.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in developing and implementing policies, procedures, systems, and processes that improve program effectiveness, trainee experience, operational efficiency, and quality, and serves as a primary administrative liaison between the vascular surgery educational leadership, department leadership, the office of Graduate Medical Education, faculty, trainees, and other internal and external stakeholders.
This position does not provide direct patient care.

Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
