Job Summary
Essential Functions
To coordinate, manage, and evaluate ConTex academic programs which include Doctoral Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships, and Collaborative Research Programs. Responsible for providing professional academic/administrative level support, assigned programs, which may include budget coordination, program selection, program evaluation, staff supervision, and future program planning.
ConTex is an office and program established by the University of Texas System to support a program of cooperation with Mexico’s Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation (Secihti, formerly Conahcyt). ConTex supports binational academic and research activities in graduate education, postdoctoral and faculty exchanges, mobility on non-degree graduate students, and collaborative research projects. The UTSA Office of the President is responsible for overseeing the ConTex program and office.

Working Conditions
Physical Demands:
This position will require working both remotely in Texas and on campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
