Albany Medical Center is seeking a Plastic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the Division of Plastic Surgery. This full-time position supports clinical, educational, and research growth within a collaborative faculty.

The role includes opportunities to provide breast reconstruction, expand transgender care and aesthetic practice, and service at the VA Medical Center, with independent hand and face trauma call.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Fellowship training in microvascular surgery is desirable, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide breast reconstruction services at a nearby affiliate hospital.
• Expand transgender care and aesthetic practice.
• Deliver clinical care at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.
• Take independent hand and face trauma call.
