Job summary

Temple Health's Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery seeks a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join its academic program in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will provide clinical care across the spectrum of plastic surgery and participate in resident and fellow education.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training program.
• Credentials to support a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic development.

Responsibilities

• participate in the clinical care of plastic surgery patients,
• contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows,
• have opportunities to develop a focused area of clinical and academic expertise,
• work with Plastic Surgery residents in training and be part of the teaching faculty
