Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $160,000 - $190,000; Associate Professor: $180,600 - $231,000; Professor: $236,700 - $322,300

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation, seeks full-time faculty members at any rank specializing in pediatric hematologic malignancies and the care of childhood cancer survivors. The role involves developing or enhancing clinical and translational research programs focused on pediatric cancer survivors, including exploring determinants of care outcomes, leading clinical trials, and managing long-term toxicities of treatments. Clinical responsibilities may evolve based on patient needs and departmental direction. Additional duties include teaching, supervision, and scholarly activities.

Applicants will join a distinguished community collaborating with various departments and affiliated hospitals, managing the largest pediatric program in Illinois within the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance.

Minimum qualifications include: 1) MD or equivalent, 2) eligibility for Illinois medical licensure, 3) Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology, 4) experience in pediatric solid tumor research. Strong collaborative skills are especially valued.
