Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic Pediatrics, is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to provide primary outpatient care for adolescents at Comer Children's Hospital and affiliated sites, with inpatient consults as needed. Candidates will teach medical students, residents, and fellows, engage in scholarly activity, and participate in program development.

Job description

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic Pediatrics, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide primary outpatient clinical care for adolescents with a wide variety of healthcare needs in an academic medical center and community settings, as well as consultative inpatient adolescent care. Clinical responsibilities will occur at Comer Children's Hospital and the section's off-site clinical locations. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible.
