Job summary

The University of Minnesota's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking an academic physiatrist to join our growing team within the M Health Fairview system. The role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and faculty duties.

You will educate medical students, residents, and fellows, collaborate with PM&R leadership, participate in consult services and call coverage, and contribute to research aligned with the department's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible with ABPM&R.
• Minnesota license or eligibility.
• DEA certification (Minnesota) eligibility.
• Credentialing and privileging eligibility.
• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general physiatry care for rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver inpatient consult services and rotating call coverage.
• Build collaborative relationships with referring providers and departments.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities aligned with departmental goals.
