UPMC, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, seeks a full-time general physiatrist for inpatient rehabilitation and consultative/outpatient roles for neurorehabilitation patients. Interest in electrodiagnostic evaluations is a plus, with opportunities for teaching, research, and administrative leadership.

The role emphasizes clinical work (85–90%) with teaching, research and administration as the remainder, within a larger, established department and network.

Qualificações

• MD or equivalent and BC/BE in PM&R with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• Associate Professor level generally requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and scholarly productivity.
• Full Professor level generally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and national/international reputation.
• Scholarly productivity evidenced by teaching, research, publications, and funding history is required for tenure.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical and academic track appointments are available.
• Join a well-established team of 40+ physiatrists and 13+ APPs within a department of 75+ full-time faculty.
• Position will be 85–90% clinical with the remainder dedicated to teaching, research, and administrative work.
• Call is approximately 1:8 weekends.
