Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time general physiatrist. The candidate will provide general inpatient rehabilitation services within the UPMC Rehabilitation Network and have a consultative and outpatient role for patients with neurorehabilitation needs.

Interest and experience in electrodiagnostic evaluations a plus.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and BC/BE in PM&R with ability to obtain PA license.
• Associate Professor level generally requires minimum 5 years of experience and scholarly productivity.
• Full Professor level generally requires minimum 10 years and national/international reputation.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity required for tenure/academic track.

Responsibilities

• Provide general inpatient rehabilitation services within the UPMC Rehabilitation Network.
• Conduct consults and provide outpatient care for neurorehabilitation patients.
• Engage in teaching, research and administrative leadership.
• Call coverage approximately 1:8 weekends.
