The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, seeks a physiatrist for a full-time faculty position at our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The role includes academic duties, teaching residents and students, and delivering Grand Rounds.

Open ranks Assistant/Associate/Professor; in inpatient rehab, ambulatory clinics, and community-based services; Missouri/Kansas licensure; competitive compensation and relocation support.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO Board Eligible/Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
• Inpatient Rehabilitation experience (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Special interest in medical management of rehabilitation needs for patients during inpatient rehabilitation, including medically complex, neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses.
• Collaborate with referring services and other departments to ensure transitions across the continuum of care.
• Establish a community-based consultation service at other locations as appropriate.
• Provide care in ambulatory clinics for general and/or neurologic physiatry patients.
