Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center invites applications for a Faculty - Rehabilitation Medicine role in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The faculty member will deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care, participate in teaching and mentorship of learners, and contribute to scholarly activities across clinical, educational, and service missions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent is required for this clinical academic role.
• Board Certified or Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas.
• Fellowship training in Pain Medicine or Interventional Spine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage rehabilitation medicine patients/program along with teaching and scholarly activity.
• Provide clinical care including functional restoration, pain management in spine/musculoskeletal conditions.
• Conduct clinics in designated locations and collaborate with spine surgeons and pain anesthesia teams.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and medical students; lecture to learners; attend Grand Rounds.
• Maintain scholarly activity commensurate with the academic track.
