Jackson Physician Search is assisting an award-winning Level I Trauma and Safety Net hospital in Phoenix, AZ to recruit a leader for Pediatric Surgery. The role offers autonomous practice within an academic environment and strong subspecialty support to drive a new service line forward.

The position is full-time, with a base salary potential of $700,000+ and a negotiable sign-on bonus, plus student loan repayment via PSLF/NHSC.

Responsibilities

• Lead a new Pediatric Surgery service line within the hospital with strong institutional support.
• Practice autonomously in an academic setting with dedicated anesthesia, pediatric neurosurgery, and subspecialty support.
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students as part of the program.
• Provide resident night call coverage as part of duties.

The Position:

• Lead a new service line and build a program with great support already in place.
• Independent practice with dedicated anesthesia, pediatric neurosurgery, and pediatric subspecialty support.
• Teaching and mentorship role with residents and medical students.
• Resident night call coverage.
