The University of Washington School of Medicine’s Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a pediatric-focused neurosurgeon for a faculty role at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The position supports clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities within a 12-month service period.

Rank is Assistant Professor (with or without tenure by funding) or Associate Professor (with funding) depending on credentials. Salary ranges reflect base pay plus monthly compensation, with total fixed compensation

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent required for medical licensure.
• MD/PhD or foreign equivalent acceptable.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric neurosurgical care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
• Participate in evaluation, surgical management and ongoing care of pediatric patients.
• Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows.
