Job summary

MUSC - The Medical University of South Carolina seeks BC Pediatric Neurologist to join its academic team in Charleston, SC. Open to subspecialties including epilepsy and neuromuscular, with teaching and research opportunities in a multidisciplinary children’s hospital setting and an excellent compensation plan.

Work 4 days per week in outpatient clinic, typically 8 am to 5 pm, seeing about 12 patients daily and sharing inpatient service weeks every 5–6 weeks with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• BC Pediatric Neurologist with board certification in pediatric neurology.
• Open to subspecialties including epilepsy and neuromuscular.
• Academic compensation plan with teaching and research opportunities.
• 4 days per week outpatient with 8 am–5 pm schedule.
• Inpatient service weeks every 5–6 weeks with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Teach in a 5-year ACGME‑accredited Child Neurology Residency Program.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and nurses.
• See about 12 pediatric neurology patients per day with defined visit times.
• Provide inpatient coverage on a rotating schedule.
