Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Pediatrics seeks a Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology in Charleston. The position offers academic growth in a Level IV epilepsy center with a broad spectrum of services and a focus on teaching and research.

Qualifications

Board certification path for ABPN is required/strongly preferred.
Interest/experience in neuromuscular and/or neuroimmunology welcomed.
Commitment to MUSC's educational missions.

Responsibilities

Join a pediatric neurology faculty supported by 4 NPs and PAs.
Teach in a 5-year ACGME-accredited Child Neurology Residency Program.
Outpatient clinic four days per week, typically 8 am–5 pm.
See ~12 pediatric neurology patients per day with defined visit times.
Share inpatient pediatric neurology service weeks every 5–6 weeks.
Contribute to a Level IV Epilepsy Center with comprehensive services.
