Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington, DE, seeks a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a growing, academically oriented division. You will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric GI care and perform endoscopic procedures while engaging in teaching and research activities.

The role includes an academic appointment with Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and opportunities to work at satellite sites in the region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Delaware medical licensure.
• Commitment to outstanding clinical care, collaboration and academic excellence.
• Interest in teaching, research and/or quality improvement encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric GI care.
• Perform endoscopic procedures as part of patient care.
• Participate in education of medical students and residents.
