Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, Delaware seeks a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing team at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, endoscopy, and teaching and research activities.

The candidate will have an academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College (Thomas Jefferson University) and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven pediatric health system serving the Delaware Valley.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Delaware medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to outstanding clinical care, collaboration, and academic excellence.
• Interest in teaching, research, and/or quality improvement encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology care.

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing team at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington, DE.

This position is based primarily at our flagship children’s hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, with opportunities to provide care at satellite locations throughout the region.This includes a faculty appointment through the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia PA. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, academically focused division with opportunities to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology care, perform endoscopic procedures, and participate in the education of medical students and residents.

Individuals interested in combining outstanding patient care with teaching and scholarly activity (clinical or basic science research) are encouraged to apply. Candidates at all experience levels, including graduating fellows, will be considered.
