Job summary

University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's in Cleveland is seeking a Physician in Pediatrics Developmental/Behavioral Psychology to join our academic medical center.

Appointment at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or full Professor is available commensurate with experience. The role emphasizes direct patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and collaboration within a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with unrestricted license; academic appointment commensurate with experience.
• Fellowship training in pediatrics development/behavioral psychology or related field.
• Experience teaching medical students and residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care to pediatric patients in the specified area.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Supervise clinical students and residents in specialty activities.
• Assist in daily operations of the medical program or department.
• Coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
• Adhere to patient safety, privacy, and department policies.
• Engage in health promotion and education programs as applicable.
• Maintain departmental productivity and contribute to scholarly activity.
