The role involves direct patient care, supervision of students and residents, and leadership of a patient-care unit or program as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with an unrestricted license (Required).
• Fellowship training in relevant subspecialty (Required).
• Appointment with CWRU SOM at the level commensurate with experience (Required).
• Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Developmental/Behavioral Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for a pediatric developmental/behavioral population.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and related care components as needed.
• Train and supervise medical students and residents in specialty activities.
• Possibly manage daily operations of a medical program or unit.
• Coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
