Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Division of Cardiology, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a general pediatric cardiologist at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank for Clinical X or HS Clinical series. The role spans outpatient pediatric cardiology care across UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals’ East Bay and Central Valley locations, including Oakland and San Francisco as needed.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in California.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric cardiology care across UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals and affiliated sites.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and longitudinally manage infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, primary care providers, and other teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in scholarly activities aligned with the division’s needs.
